This technical specification covers requirements for a new General Coach Bus Ez-trans low floor bus, which is suitable for service
in a variety of applications. The bus shall be designed to operate in service for at least ten years or 350,000 miles. The bus shall meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations in effect at the date of manufacture. The bus must be fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The bus must comply with O.E.M. chassis manufacturer's recommended practices as defined in the Body Builder and Van Modifier Manuals.

Chassis
- The chassis shall be a International 3200-IM chassis with a GVWR of 23,500 lbs.
- The wheelbase chall be ______* (Insert appropriate information from above table.
- Service brakes shall be heavy-duty disc brakes, with four-wheel anti-lock system. The parking brake shall be a transmission-mounted drum type.
- Six 245/70R 19.5, shall be provided. Mud flaps shall be provided at the rear tires.
- The engine shall be International VT365 diesel engine. The cooling system shall be the highest capacity available for the specified chassis. The air cleaner shall be a heavy-duty dry type with a replaceable element. The oil filter shall be a full-flow, disposable type.
- The transmission shall be an Allison 2000 Series automatic with auxillary transmission cooler.
- Power steering shall be supplied. A tilt steering wheel and cruise control are required.
- The tail pipe shall exit at the rear or side of the bus.
